Batch segments are evaluated according to a set schedule. Streaming segments are constantly evaluated as data enters the system. The evaluation method can either be streaming or batch. The churn represents the percentage of profiles that are changing within a segment definition compared to the last time the segment job ran, while the profile count represents the total number of profiles that qualify for the segment.
